​I feel blessed to be able to go out of state to do what I love. Also, to make new friends and learn.

​King is a Pasadena born, Compton raised director. Being adopted at 18 months, King made it her mission to find her family and heal through family trauma by making films.

​King found her family at 16 years old and has gone on tell their story with her short film True Desire and Who Am I.

​In 2017 and 2018, King’s biological mother and father passed away. To honor them she goes by King, she mother’s last name, and taking photos just like her father.

​King wants to continue to bring awareness to foster and adopted youth. King hopes her films will touch hearts and inspire others to tell their stories.
