All NPF students must demonstrate a passion for films involving Afrocentric and underserved communities and go through a highly-competitive process to participate in our programs. Once accepted, student training includes comprehensive filmmaking seminars and hands-on workshops in screenwriting, directing, cinematography, acting and producing. NPF programs are open to high school seniors, college students and recent college graduates.
